“Loye” is a hamlet 3 km from Morogues and 25 km from Bourges, where the Pays Fort, the Sancerrois and the Champagne berrichonne meet. A long-distance footpath crosses the estate. Sancerre and Menetou-Salon cellars, the goat farms of Chavignol and the potters’ village of La Borne are next door; the Loire is 30 km away, by canoe if you like.
Heated poolBig, heated, in the middle of the park, open in the warm season. “A gigantic pool at the perfect temperature.”
The parkTrampoline, swings, zip line, pedal go-karts, a gypsy caravan: children cannot believe it.
The animalsThe house dogs, the hens, the goats, the horses, the sheep, the guinea pigs. Fresh eggs, apple juice from the orchard, honey from the Pays Fort.
Indoor gamesBilliards, table football, ping-pong in the barn.

“In love with nature and with my region, I took over the family house with passion. This house has always been a place of life, encounters, reunions and parties. Now that my five children have left, it matters to me that it remains a happy house.” A bookbinder, she runs the “la Fin des Cornichons” workshop twenty metres from the rooms, and cooks breakfasts and dinners with the hens’ eggs, local honey and apple juice from the orchard.
